This three-room suite is located in the most impressive Baroque wing on the first floor, built when the castle underwent extensive reconstruction at the end of the 18th century. It faces the south-eastern sunny side of the castle looking out over the French park and rose garden located on part of the medieval fortifications, at the bastions in front of the main entrance to the castle hotel.
The suite has three rooms, with a generously designed bathroom with a tub and shower subtly embedded in the original stucco vaulted space. The suite’s original furnishings include an 18th century ceramic tile stove.
It is connected through a door to the ceremonial Count’s Hall, with a remarkably exceptional fresco and mostly figurative decorations done at a time when the castle was reconstructed with wet plaster painting techniques.
The suite has a double bed and guests can connect to the Internet or use the telephone, television, minibar, safe and desk. There are two extra beds available in the suite or a cot upon request.
Guests at the hotel get free breakfast, mineral water, welcome drink and admission to the Wellness Center (pool, whirlpool bath, steam sauna, Finnish sauna and fitness room). The above-mentioned is provided also to the guests accommodated on the extra bed.
Apartment is not air-conditioned because of the limited possibilities of reconstruction of the national cultural monument.
